Jo Heigho
Jo's experience includes working with clients at all stages of Investors in People programmes from initial reviews and action planning through implementation activities such as business planning, communications, appraisals, induction and evaluation of training, supporting managers to clarify their responsibilities, to pre-assessment and recognition.
Jo also assesses organisations in:
- Devising and implementing training and development frameworks to meet regulatory requirements;
- Designing and running management development courses, both stand alone and as part of MCI Level 4 and 5 and CMS programmes, including topics such as appraisal skills, coaching, time management, presentation skills, leadership, team building;
- Providing advice on human resource issues such as contractual documents, staff handbooks and employment law matters; advice on HR systems and procedures such as health and safety policies, pension schemes and redundancies; recruitment to director level, including that of a non executive chairman; conducting salary surveys and undertaking interim HR assignments;
- Lecturing on the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development professional examination programmes;
- Working with organisations using the EFQM (Business Excellence) Model.
