Lynette Swift BSc(Econ), Managing Director
Lynette is an economist who worked for 10 years in the Treasury function of banking and financial services companies. She is the author of books on Capital Markets and Investment and still writes regularly about the Single European Currency for Economic journals.
Her business experience has been gained from working with the Sedgwick Group, Chase Manhattan and when living in Hong Kong was commissioned by the Economist Intelligence Unit to research and write a study on Foreign Investment in China.
Lynette set up Swiftwork in April 1999 having identified the need for organisations to introduce work-life balance initiatives including flexible working and having identified that the demand by employers for flexible managerial skills was inadequately serviced.
Lynette's specialist expertise is in identifying and building the Business Case and the use of cost-benefit analysis to support this. She recently contributed to: "Equality and Excellence: The Business Case" published in November 2001 by Business in the Community. She sat on the panel of judges for the Opportunity Now 2002 Employer Awards for Best Practice.
